Work has been proceeding steadily at 20 different Railway Stations throughout N.Ireland. Platform lengths are being extended in order to accommodate longer trains.
Two of these platforms will be completely demolished and replaced. McLaughlin & Harvey Ltd were appointed as the main contractor by the client Translink.
McLaughlin & Harvey Ltd placed the order for the precast elements with Moore Concrete. These include various Coping Units, Beams, Slabs, Walls, and Piling Caps.
The majority of works were carried out during night time possessions, with weekend closures utilised where possible.
With a value of almost £4.8 million and a duration of 124 weeks this project has been very successful.
