The freestanding Concrete Bunker Walls are designed to minimise the hassle of storing bulk materials in various industries including agriculture, horticulture, recycling, woodchip and biomass.
The unique curved shape has been developed to allow the free flow of material to the floor with a 100mm straight portion at the bottom edge to aid the removal of material from the bay.
Moore Concrete’s Bunker Walls are also approved under the Targeted Agricultural Modernisation Scheme (TAMS III) in the Republic of Ireland.
Concrete Bunker Walls or Bay Dividers are effective large volume storage systems and act as an effective way to store materials such as silage, feed, sand, gravel and much more. Using them will help eliminate waste, keeping your area clean and tidy.
They are the optimum shape and profile for the storage of grain, aggregate, solid fuels and other materials and are ideal for forming storage bays.
Moore Concrete’s Precast Bunker Wall has a unique design – Community Design Registration No. 001647983-0001.
Other storage solutions include Free Standing L Shaped Retaining Walls and Prestressed Wall Panels.
Precast Concrete Bunker Walls are double load bearing
Ease of repositioning as Walls have forklift recesses incorporated into the base
Bunker walls can be used as concrete bay dividers. Their versatility allows you to change the size of bays in line with business demands or crop yields
Unique curve design was developed to allow the free flow of material to the very bottom of the silo
Narrow base thus minimizing footprint
Walls up to 3.0m (10’) do not need bolted down when retaining material which has a density of less than 12kn/m3. This includes grain, solid fuels, recycling materials, wood chip, potatoes etc
Corner units are also available allowing storage bays to be formed. Our diverse range of precast retaining walls products including Retaining L Walls, Prestressed Wall Panels and QuikBloc enable us to design a wide range storage bays of almost any size. The precast units can easily be repositioned to change bay sizes and create a flexible storage solution
All Walls are CE Manufactured to EN 15258

We manufacture a range of concrete bunker walls from 1.5m (5′) to 4.3m (14). All our sizes can be found in the table above. Precast concrete corner units are also available.
*Heavier profile wall available for silage loading
A heavier profile wall is available for retaining silage in both 2.4m (8’) and 3.0m (10’) heights. These will need to be bolted to a suitably reinforced slab.
Moore Concrete Freestanding Bunker Walls are CE marked – manufactured in accordance with EN 15258.
The heights 3m, 3.6m, 4.0m and 4.3m are shipped on their side due to height restrictions, whilst 1.5m & 2.4 are transported in their upright position.
Lifting eyes are cast that top, Moore Concrete provide pins inserted through these holes and then attached to lifting loops.
The video below demonstrates how to turn a Concrete Bunker Wall, using our top tip of using wooden laths to help prevent chipping.
