Glynn River

Concrete Society Certificate of Excellence for Outstanding Merit in the Use of Concrete for River Glynn Bridge Replacement Project Awarded to main Contractor McLaughlin & Harvey.

“The Glynn River Railway Bridge was completed on 31st August 2015, after a 9 day closure of the Belfast to Larne rail line.  Working 24hours a day the existing bridge was demolished  and replaced with a new two span reinforced concrete bridge.  Using precast concrete components from Moore Concrete, facilitated this speedy turnaround in the project, resulting in the minimum disruption to Translink services.”
