Moore Concrete supplied the standing walls for the prestigious Ebrington Parade Ground regeneration at Londonderry.
The walls were manufactured with a special textured timber finish. The project, which is now known as the Ebrington Public Realm, was completed by SIAC Construction. We also supplied precast beams and slabs to the project with special glass inserts between the beams. Measuring over 5 acres, the former parade ground was transformed into the city’s largest public realm.
Since it opened in February 2012, Ebrington Square has hosted several large scale events including Radio 1’s Big Weekend, the Walled City Tattoo and the Lumière Festival as part of the UK City of Culture 2013 celebrations.
