Moore Concrete Wins Right Place to Work at Ballymena Business Awards 2022. The 2022 Ballymena Excellence Awards saw Moore Concrete win the prestigious ‘Right Place to Work’ award while also being short listed for the ‘Skills Development’ award by Ballymena Chamber of Commerce. It is a great testament to the hard work that goes into providing continued training and staff development here at Moore Concrete, something that is a major focus of the business.

Hydro Ness British Construction Industry Awards Small Project Of The Year 2022

Hydro Ness Wins Small Project of the Year at BCIA 2022. Moore Concrete are delighted to be part of the team who brought Hydro Ness Archimedes Screw scheme to life. It is a fantastic achievement for Hydro Ness to be awarded the ‘Small Project Of The Year‘ at such a prestigious event. This iconic project was designed, engineered, prefabricated and constructed by Northern Ireland SME’s including: Moore Concrete, Hydro NI, P Bradley and Company, Hasson Engineering, Hasson Engineering Solutions and The Tech Guys. Moore Concrete manufactured a range of precast products including; Wingwalls, Culverts, Panels, L-Walls and tables.

Concrete Society Commended Award Sevenoaks Moore Concrete 2018

Highly Commended Award at Concrete Society for work on Sevenoaks School in 2018. Moore Concrete are proud to have received a Highly Commended Award at the Concrete Society Dinner at the end of last year for their innovative work within the construction of Sevenoaks School. The school features a precast ribbed roof structure manufactured and installed by Moore Concrete, as the standout feature. It is made up of one hundred and seventeen precast roof slabs comprising of two different designs both requiring a high quality finish and colour consistency.

Milford-On-Sea Beach Huts Concrete Society Award Moore Concrete

Highly Commended Award at the Concrete Society Award 2017 for work on Milford-On-Sea Beach Huts. The judges comments included: ‘Overall the visual impression is very pleasing’, ‘The precast concrete, both artistic and plain, was to a very high standard’ and ‘The mix of precast and in-situ gave construction speed and cost effectiveness. The project utilises innovative techniques such as printed graphic concrete and unique Flotsam Jetsam artwork using a Reckli moulding system. Standard culvert C-sections laid on their side provided the basis for a cost effective structural solution’.

Concrete Society Awards Black Esk Key Moore Concrete 2015

Certificate of Excellence Concrete Society Award for work on Black Esk Weir. Moore Concrete achieved a Certificate of Excellence from the Concrete Society in 2015. This award related to work we carried out for Black and Veatch Ltd, supplying the precast elements of a weir in Scotland.

Concrete Society Awards Milestone Canal Bridge Moore Concrete

Certificate of Excellence Concrete Society Award for work on Bebo Arch, Heysham Bypass. Moore Concrete are proud to have been awarded the prestigious Certificate of Excellence at the 2015 Concrete Society Awards for The BEBO Arch at Heysham Bypass. The precast concrete units Moore Concrete manufactured were described by the main client Costain International as having “the best finish they’d seen on a precast bridge”. Moore Concrete made the arches for Asset International who are exclusive UK & Ireland Licensees for the BEBO ARCH system.
